[Daily Press] VIRGINIA - Klan graffiti, thought by James City Police to be mischief, could be a sign of something serious
"James City and York counties were hit recently with a wave of racist vandalism, and while police have been quick to dismiss the incidents as childish mischief, a watchdog group contends it could be more serious. Painted on trees and road signs along John Tyler Highway and on the road itself were racial slurs, references to the Ku Klux Klan and threats to blacks. Others specifically threatened President Barack Obama. Many used expletives and the "N" word."
